Turkey expects meeting on Ukrainian grain in coming weeks
ANKARA, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- A meeting between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the U.N. to discuss transportation of Ukrainian grain will take place in Turkey in the next few weeks, a representative of the Ministry of National Defense told PRIME on Wednesday.
“The quadrilateral meeting is to be held in Turkey in a few coming weeks,” the representative said.
The recent meeting of the Russian and Turkish military delegations in Moscow has proven to be fruitful, as Azov ConCord, a dry cargo carrier that had been waiting for several days in the Ukrainian port of Mariupol, sailed from port several hours after the meeting, becoming the first foreign ship to do that, the representative said.
